I am usually lonely and grumpy but when I learned that I won 2nd place in feature writing( the kind of writing that I'm good at), I kind of beamed. Why? Because whenever I write, it's magic. I feel as if no body needs to hurt me. I feel as if the world just has to do whatever I have written so that there would be no trouble. Then the next thing I knew, all the people who hate me seem to befriend me all of a sudden. Plastics. I simply smiled. I'm not the type who starts bragging that I won a prize for writing. Like I said, in the list of things that they hate me about, writing is a part of the hating requirement. Soon, everyone will be back to "i hate you " mode and by then I'll be the same quiet girl who just writes articles for the school paper( which they call the dullest thing for extracurricular stuff.) . But I geuss i am happy. It's like ages since I haven't competed in what I'm good at...And I seem to be since my cheeks are kind of glowing.
